It follows people with Stage 2 T1D over time to better understand their experiences. Some participants have received an infusion of teplizumab and others have not, allowing researchers to understand a directly compared impact of teplizumab on Stage 2 T1D. PicnicHealth By allowing PicnicHealth to collect, digitize and de-identify your or your child’s medical records, you have the opportunity to participate in Stage 2 T1D research while staying in control of your health data. Your or your child’s de-identified data helps inform efforts to develop future treatments and improve care. ## What to expect ### Medical Record Collection We’ll securely collect your medical records to understand your care and confirm eligibility. You can view them in your PicnicHealth account, along with tools to manage your care. They will be de-identified before they are shared for research. ### Eligibility Verification Once we get your records, we’ll check that you qualify for Tepli-QUEST — including a doctor-confirmed Stage 2 type 1 diabetes (T1D) diagnosis, age 8 or older, and U.S.-based care. ### Paid Surveys You’ll be asked to complete surveys about your experience with Stage 2 T1D, treatment, and overall well-being.
