# How does study compensation work?

Some PicnicHealth studies are compensated, meaning you can receive money by taking part. If a study is compensated, it will be indicated on the web page for that study.

Compensation is paid in the form of an e-Gift Card or e-Visa card which can be redeemed online. Once your eligibility for the study is confirmed, the card will be emailed to you from GiftBit.
